Help in Morse code
Help in Morse code is .... . .-.. .--.. The P at the end, dot dash dash dot, is the only new letter compared with HELLO.
Use SOS in an emergency, not HELP
HELP takes 4 letters and 14 symbols, and someone who knows a little Morse code may not catch it. SOS is shorter, has an unmistakable rhythm, and is recognised worldwide as a distress call, even by people who know no other Morse code. If you need to signal for help with a light, a whistle or by knocking, send SOS: three short, three long, three short.
HELP is still useful in games, escape rooms and puzzles, where Morse code clues are popular. If you have a clue to solve, paste the dots and dashes into the translator; it detects Morse code by itself.
Translate anything
Type any word into the Morse code translator to hear it, flash it or download it as audio. Every letter, number and sign is on the Morse code alphabet chart, and the trainer teaches you to read Morse code by ear.
